On page 64 of the March 2003 35th anniversary SUMMIT catalog, the one with the C5 pro-mod racer on the cover. You think these would direct bolt onto my 350 with no mods? Only reason I ask is the picture below shows the altenator perched atop the intake directly over the water nect versus outboard left side valve cover. Yeah a know the lower/ upper bracket arms rotate but do they roate that much? The part number is MCH-20120.
Think it would look a tad better than the blak painted stock arms that holds the chrome altenator on.
Re: March billet altenator brackets (Cali,77,L-82)
Realized I was not specific enough. The top telescoping mount they offer looks to go from maybe 6" to 12" and the stock arm length (I'm guessing) is at least 14" so does it get mounted somewhere else like off the intake versus one of the water pump mounting bolts. Any ideas guys?
Re: March billet altenator brackets (Cali,77,L-82)
I use March brackets (good stuff) but the engine isn't in my Vette. This stuff all fit perfectly and the serpentine belt has plenty of adjustment and you can tilt the alt and a/c compressor to different angles.

Don't have the latest summit catalog handy, but I can assure you that March makes top notch stuff. I'm using their serpentine conversion kit on my BB.
