My brakes wouldn't bleed after a couple years of sitting so I decided to pull them off. I somehow created an extra hole. Oops! That casting must have been really thin.
I guess I'm on the hunt for a caliper. I'm glad it happened here rather than blowing out on the road.
That shouldn't affect any thing, here's my front calipers just this week off my '72.
It's only the bottom of the threaded hole, and the bolt has bottomed out, ie; too long.

Yep, those holes are super-common and don't affect a thing. Just one of those GM quirks.

Wow, I feel kind of stupid. LOL. But thanks, I cancelled my other calipers. Saved me a lot of money!
