Reason: Add car xetails
I may be the bearer of BAD news! Not every year C3 has the same turn signal switch assembly. I changed the turn signal assembly on my 73 without any big problems, I will guess your switch is not the correct one for your year. I can’t remember if having tilt/telescoping steering wheel makes a difference. You will have better response from Forum Members if you give specific details on your particular car, ie. Year, engine, tranny.

Hi
its a 76 c3
the only diffrence is that some handle are going in with a screw and some like mine are kind of push and lock with a scrue plate
[img alt="Can you say what are those two?
And how does they goea? "]https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/1500x2000/20250924_113939_565936cbe954bd2233dca61c 3a9fefc12ca57494.jpg[/img] Can you say what are those two? And how does they goea?
Hard to be sure from your pictures, but I am pretty sure that is the wrong turn signal switch. 77-82 used the push in turn signal levers, so those switches don't have the boss to screw the lever in. Just get the right parts rather than butchering up the column or switch. Is your column a tilt/tele or standard, as said before, they use different switches as well. Oh, and your first picture is the key warning buzzer switch and it is installed correctly. I have been in a bunch of these columns, and have never seen the part you are calling the original shim. It resembles the piece that goes on the bottom exterior of the column that the lower trim piece fastens to.
