I might have missed it but they never mentioned what size engine it has. Just guessing but it probably is a small block or they would mention bigblock as a selling point. I also notice 10.5 compresstion and 16% overdriven 6-71. That combination would put the compression out of sight.
Alot of money. Canadian that is about $80,000. As much as a brand new corvette.

Hey Norval her is the information on the motor from the seller

Compression ratio is 10.5:1. Engine is a highly modified SB 400. Here's further info on the engine & drive detail:

Engine & Drive Train:

This car was built for competition performance as well as a show winner. The engine is an SB 400 which has been highly modified to include an impressive, all-chromed GMC 6:71 Blower motor assembly with a 16% Overdriver, dual quad Holley 850 cfm competition carburetors (both are dual feed), and a highly polished stainless steel 3-port "Bug Catcher" intake scoop, all of which extend above a custom-made opening in the modified hood assembly. The internal engine modifications are also extensive, including a competition Hanks crankshaft, competition aluminum rods, 10.5:1 compression ratio, Reed competition camshaft, and custom modified Brodix heads. The engine has been dyno tested, with horsepower ratings ranging from 857-900+ horsepower, depending upon variations in the tuning specifications used for varying competition environments.

Transmission is a modified TH400 with competition Stall Converter. Rear end gears are 4:11 ratio. The entire drive train including engine, transmission, driveshaft, rear end, and axles are all chromed. The engine, transmission and rear end are all in excellent operating condition.

Here is another note the owner sent me..Cool Dude

Al,

Thanks for the note. We live in Conyers and I also own several other vintage cars including a '57 Chevy BelAir Hardtop, a '34 Ford Roadster (w/Chevy power, of course!), etc. I also have a vintage '56 Ford tow truck converted to a ramp/car hauler ... complete with a Rocket 455 Olds engine & mounted on a '95 dually frame. Be glad to show you the car(s) sometime if it doesn't sell. It's pretty awesome to look at, but even more awesome when I fire it up! I'll let you know. I also plan to have it at the NHRA Super Chevy Nationals at Commerce this year, as well as the Rod Run at Daytona, Atlanta World of Wheels, etc., etc., if it doesn't sell. We'll see what happens. Nice chatting with you.

- Ron
