Is the only option for switching a California 1981 Corvette from v-belt to serpentine and retain the smog pump, pulling a system off an old late 80s to early 90s
Camaro/Firebird or buying new from GM? I've contacted March Performance and CVF Racing and neither one makes a system that works with the smog pump.

What are you going to buy new from GM? Lucky if they continue production of parts beyond 10 years that are no longer used in current production.
Well, the description on the GM performance site for this kit mentions it coming with the "Secondary air injector pump bracket". I'm thinking
that's the smog pump bracket, therefore assuming the system incorporates it. I haven't talked to anybody at GM performance to confirm.
This link has a list that mentions it. https://www.gmperformancemotor.com/parts/19435736.html
1981 C3 has a "short vette" pump, Not Long, Not short
Seems that KIT 19435746 includes GM 19201601 Water Pump. Pretty sure that's a LONG pump, and extends much farther forward than your OE C3 pump does.
Seems KIT also includes a new, large diameter Main drive Serp pulley; which also extends much farther forward than OE C3 pulley.
You'll likely find that Serp pulley will interfere with your C3 frame's front crossmember; nearest that Serp pulley.
Also, pump 19201601 is Reverse-ROTATION; your OE clockwise rotation fan blade Cannot work with that, Moreover, the fan blde will also be pushed farther into OE shroud and will Not work efficiently when fan blade isn't properly positioned in relation to shroud opening's "Lip".
