Looking fwd at the fuse panel which side of the wiper fuse is the positive side (left or right)
I currently don’t have the battery installed and want to install a fuse tap to for a painless 70207 fuse block
I am using the ignition terminal for a hei distributor
thank you

Power comes into the fuse box from the far right and far left sides and goes through the fuse into the center.
The key must be ON for the power to enter the right side fuses.
clarification of my question
the wiper fuse being on would the right side of the fuse box would have the positive end of its glass fuse on the right hand side of the fuse correct??
thanks

I think both sides of the Wiper Fuse could be considered positive. The right side is direct from the accessory power line provided by the ignition switch and the left side is through the protection fuse which then goes on to connect to the wiper assembly. That is the way it is on my 1968 year car.
