Fuel pressure regulator
Has anyone put a fuel pressure regulator with a bypass/return? If so, how did you combine the fuel return from the fuel pump and the one coming off the regulator? Car is somewhat of a show car but I like to enjoy it driving it occasionally.
I have a 1980 with a 750 Edelbrock Carb on my 350 with a mild cam. Yes before someone says it "Edelbrock?" Holley is better! Yes you might be right but I got this carb brand new and at an employee discount. It was at a good price! Well anyway to my problem at hand, I took a pretty long trip from my house to the Twisted Sister Trail in Leakey, Texas. ( About 350 miles one way) Guys If you haven't made it out there, I recommend it.
My car seems to be leaking gas from the Charcoal canister. It might be because I topped off the tank, but even at about 75% capacity the canister would still leak, so I am thinking there is too much gas going into carb and it is somehow finding its way into canister. So I thought maybe I could regulate the gas going to carb and returning excess back to return line.
Any good setup Ideas?
