Turn signal doesn't return
1975 with tilt telescopic, right turn signal doesn't always return, based on how far I turn the steering wheel. Which part generally should be replaced or repaired.
1. Turn Signal Switch. W/Tilt & Telescopic.
2. Turn signal switch guide spring.
3. Turn signal cancel cam guide, W/Tilt & Telescopic.
4. Another part, or can be repaired, please specify.

If you are going to get into the Steering wheel you might as well just replace the whole turn signal switch system. Yours is over 50 years old already might as well put a new one. Once you get to it, there is 3 screws holding turn signal switch then one holding turn signal lever. The wiring you just fish it down through bottom of steering wheel. Then it is plug and play. It will take you about half a day to do. You will need a special tool to remove steering wheel. They rent it /free at Auto part stores.

I replaced my switch a few years ago and it worked great. Then one day the right would not cancel. I thought it was broken again. Took everything apart and couldn't find anything. The only thing I noticed was the grease was all gone. Greased up all the contact points and it works great again. That may be all you need.
