:mad We got like 20 inches of snow and i had my car in one of those 10 x 20 shelters. well it collapsed onto my car. Two of the poles hit the right side at the front fender and rear quarter. The fender has an inch crack and the quarter has a hole the size of my fist in it at the top. :banghead: :cry :mad
home owners will cover the shelter not the car. i have liablity only on the car. i will be getting pictures and see if i can stripe her out to cover the damage spots. the paint color is a non touch up color.
It gets worse. I just talked to my insurance agent. They said to update my policy to cover things like this ( to add comp ) is just $22 a year more. It would have covered all with no deductable.
That is why classic or collector car insurance is such a great deal. I think you can find one that doesn't require the car to be stored in a very secure building. Mine requires it but there are several companys.
