No problems installing Doug's D350 in my 82 small block. All the tubes cleared everything and better ground clearance than the stock Y-pipe too.

And I was going to ask you what headers you used... is that with the Blueprint engine?

Like I said in your other thread, I’ve heard good things about 31106FLT headers.

Yes, I first had those headers on the original L83 and now with the Blueprint engine with the raised port heads. They fit both engines/car fine without issues.

Glad to hear that the Doug D 350 headers fit with no problems. I was looking at them. Then 2 1/2” exhaust.

Has anybody installed Doug 350 headers on a 76 corvette with AC ? Do you know if I need an AC bracket or should I use the cast iron stock one?

What style of compressor do you have? The early ‘76 A6 style will need an additional bracket, while the later R4 style doesn’t.

You have an A6 compressor. You’ll need the bracket. I would look up the part as if it’s for a small block Chevy engine rather than a Corvette though. It’s definitely a part that has the Corvette “tax.”

I bought Flowtech BIG-31106FLT headers on Summit, ~$450. They fit awesome, even dropped the passenger's side in from the top. Driver's side had to pull the clutch crossmember and install from the bottom, but still easy.

Another vote for the Flowtech 31106 headers. I’ve installed them twice on 80 and 82 without any issue.
