I did the Daniel stern route to ,along. With the relay package. I used halogen aircraft landing lights for high beams, they are insane. No really they are. People said oh those lights aren't that bright, hogwash apparently people just installed them with stock wiring.im really considering going to LED lights myself .
LED lights use significantly less energy meaning less stress on 40+ year old wiring, have the color temperature you want, and have plug and play solutions for C3s. Why don’t you want to use them?
Is there a way to get rid of the yellow tone low and high beam lights without going LED?
Thanks,
Scott
When I got my 1978 it had 4 different brands of bulbs in it. I sourced the correct GM new old stock AC Guide PowerBeam bulbs and they are all as close to white as an incandescent bulb can be. As bulbs age they typically leak and get more yellow until they burn around the edges and fail. New quality bulbs will have nice clear glass and obviously haven't leaked.
