1968 corvette convertible. i do know it is red lol
this may be an aftermarket part, but the hood is a l88.
Starting in 1967, GM put build sheets on top of the fuel tanks on Corvettes. If your car still has the original fuel tank, that would be a great place to start. You may be able to see if the build sheet is on the tank with a borescope type of device. Good luck. Jerry
What is the tachometer orange/red line range?
What is the high number on the oil pressure gauge?
Of the M20 & M21 transmissions, it depended on which rear axle ratio was chosen. They are the same transmission, just different output for different axles.
You can try to do a Google search on the VIN. When I was looking at Corvettes to buy, a couple of them the VIN was listed on some old Corvette registry websites. Those had some info on previous owners and even links to previous sale listings that had photos and a lot of information about the cars.
Long shot but worth a try. Search like this: "194379S700001 corvette registry" and see if anything comes up.
