Default 82 DIC Circuit Board

I'm putting a new flexible circuit board on the DIC and it looks like you might have to remove the tachometer to pull the clips out of the back in order to change the flexible circuit board. Can anyone confirm this?

So I can confirm the tachometer has to come out to change the flexible circuit board. Took the speedometer out as well and cleaned up the housing and repaired a crack. You can see the old flexible circuit board is in bad shape.

Circuit board in position to start putting sockets and bulbs in

All the 194LL bulbs are in place, turn signal, brake and high beam.

Here all the 168LL bulbs are in place.

These are the contacts for the tachometer, to get them out I squeezed them a bit with pliers and rocked one side out then the other side.

To put the in just carefully line them up and push in until fully seated.

You might notice one hole without a bulb and socket in it, it's the Choke light and nothing was there when I took the DIC out.

Did they have a Choke light in older C3's?
