Corvette Drawings
I need at least 3 specific views of a 1970 Corvette Stingray, Front, Profile and top. Why? Im a 3d artist and I really want to create a 3d model of this gorgeous car. The last car I did was a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 350. It was some time ago and I've been itching to do another classic. You can take a look at it if you want at http://www.3dchisel.com/fsmustang.htm
The reason I think you guys could help me best is that the most perfect images I could possibly have, would probably be technical drawings maybe the owner's manual has some. If any of you has put together plastic model of this car, the instuctions probably have some great drawings that would be exactly what I need (and the nearest decent hobby shop is over an hour from here so I thought I'd try here before looking for myself)
The next best thing to drawings would be photos of an actual car. Technical drawings are better as 3d reference because there is no perspective in them. I've collected lots of great pictures from around the web of different angles but no one takes these shots. It would have to be photos that show a perfect profile of the car, probably about level with the headlights, same for front and back, and a top photo would be downright challenging to get. Theres a Kerbeck Corvette banner on this site that flashes through a few images and one shows a perfect profile that would be a good example.
If some of you want to help me out that would really be great. If you've got any ideas, Im always open to those, and if you're interested in the progress of the project, I could post some images now and then here as I go, if you're interested. Let me know.

I think you have the advantage working in full scale, I can't get in my creations and blast down the street and a digital classic car doesnt impress the ladies any more than my gas guzzling ford explorer ;)

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
First of all, awsome work!
What software is that? I use Autodesk Inventor for work every day.
some plain jane examples:

What formats can you export your surface model? If you could export as SAT or STEP I'd really apprecite it if you could send them to me. I was toying around with something similar a few weeks ago. Besides I have to have a body to stick the engine and diff in once I'm done with them.
Thanks,
Sean

Thanks. I use 3d Max, which is a Discreet product that used to be an Autodesk product. Those pics are awesome. I love that technical stuff and it is really hard to pull off in Max, which is why I am reluctant to try and do an engine.
I don't see an SAT or STEP export type. The closest would be 2 CAD types, DWG and DXF
