For those that wanted to see all the pieces of the 78 interior resto,
The Entire interior has been restored from rust and 48 years of use to new. The colour balance on my camera was a lil diff in some shots, the close up shots reflect the Doe Skin as the actualy look.
I think for a driver they came out acceptable. Also first time I did Seats.
I have the TIPs of the dash. They were cracked off. I’ll try and glue them in on the install.
Now for a birdcage rust!
Materials:
2 Cans CA Doe skin Dye.
1 Can Duplicator Accelerator for plastics
1 SEA Can Satin Black Vinyl ( had it on hand ) Lanteau Black was mentioned.
Process:
Power washer
De Greaser
Electrosonic clean
Prime/Mask/Spray
All flexible parts beat on and tested and scratched. Held up very well.
Door Cards/Seat Covering Material / Foam was from Top Flight.
Seat frames and Rails were Blasted / Cerakoted
Total cost about $2800cdn , All from TopFlight, and Shipping to Canada ( there’s ways about that ) all in but like most Time. About 30-40hrs if I had to guess.
The most expensive piece of a corvette. Pull this and the kick panel before you buy. The were gross.

Very nice. I have the doeskin interior myself. I'm going with 80 20 loop black carpet instead of that fuzzy crap. It looks more high quality and doesn't show dirt as much.

nice. Yes that’s was we use in other cars. The PO put new fuzzy crap in. So I’ll go with that for now lol. Post a pic when done.
