Default I cleaned diff parts

I cleaned a posi case and the spider gears, they are shiny now. I am planning to assemble this with new Eaton solid clutches, part number is 29403. I think I will go with 3.36 gears for this build.

Really? Was that necessary? Let's not start another thread that degraded the conversation.
They do look clean. Why a 3::36?

in hindsight yes, was not necessary. This car has no overdrive and 3.36 seem to be a happy medium between 3.08 and 3.55. With more HP I'd say the 3.08 are a good choice just to get rpm down at 65-70 mph.

I have 3:55 gears I run 275-60 drag radials because the 2:55 drag radials doesn't hook as well. So the taller tire cuts my highway RPM's. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness in engines transmission's and differential 's. Good luck on your project!
