Lower Shock Absorber Mount

I had fun with this mount yesterday! Banging on it with wood, heat and 2.5 lb hammer didn’t budge it! I had to press it off. It looks like the installer didn’t use Never Seize. Do y’all see any issue using Never Seize?

Been there more than once. They can be a bear to get out. I do put a bit of anti seize upon reassembly.

I also used a 20 ton press to get mine out. When it gave up the ghost, t sounded like a gun going off. Jerry

My 1975 came from Canada but it only took a 16oz. hammer to pop mine out. I did use some anti-seize on re-installation. I use it a lot on so many different applications.
