My turn signals stopped working. I confirmed that all of the other lights work. After going through everything I have seen on the forums and changing bulbs, etc. I have tested the power to the pigtail and the switch itself (to the best of my electrical ability). My next step is changing the switch itself but I am not convinced its the switch yet. I have removed the steering wheel and can access the switch and no visible sign of any issues.
I wanted to put out one last feeler to see if anyone had anything unique that I have not checked or considered. Like everyone else I have learned to minimize changing parts for the sake of changing parts.
Question ... does the turn signal switch interact with the turn signal switch at all? Mine works but the **** is tricky. I may possibly change that once I figure out this turn signal issue.
Start with a test light. Power on both sides of the fuse? Power at the flasher? Power at the harmonica connector? Etc. Etc.
you do have a wiring schematic?
I tested all of that. Will check them all again to see if I missed something. I am also trying to diagnose a battery drain that has been going on for years so I have wiring diagrams, etc. thanks to this forum!!

A lot of times a battery drain is caused by the courtesy light timer. I think it is inside the glove box on your car. Need to pull out the glove box liner.

Thanks. Had that done years ago. The 2 white wires are spliced together now. During this current round of investigating/experimenting I almost reverted back to putting the orange box back in place but likely won't.
I do feel like there may be a short in my rear side marker lights wiring ... but it was possibly just a "shaky" bulb. I can't reproduce what I was once seeing.

I am smarter now than when I did my previous test. Testing the harmonica it seems like I have power for the brake (P) and the hazards (K). I don't get any for the turn signal (L). I tried it with the car on/off/ignition turned. This seems to match what I am seeing but not sure if I there is another way I should test it.
Welp ... I learned a lot in the process but it appears that my turn signal issue was just that the switch just needed to be replaced. Thanks for all of the suggestions. Doesn't solve my battery drain but I've survived with that for years.
The canceling went bad before. I am focused on ensuring that I put it all back together so that it fully functions. I may have more questions later.
As per your battery drain. A common cause is a bad diode in the alternator. You should be able to measure the drain with a milli amp amp meter. Disconnect the alternator and see if your drain drops.
