I've had good experiences with Trick Flow, Dart, and AFR heads. More horsepower with either the AFRs or Darts than the Trick Flows, Also FYI, If you order your AFRs direct from AFR, they will drill the correct size temperature sensor hole for you (not the small one), just tell them what you need.

Can you believe I have never had an AFR head in this shop? People rant and rave about them but they just don't track down here for some reason....and when I was back home in Detroit....no one used them there either....strange....
I have worked on one engine in 20 years that had AFR heads and it was a 406 in a 80' Vette....go figure.
I think the subliminal turn off is that they all use an 8mm valve stem....which takes away from the standardization of parts for us down and dirty low buck bohemian kind Lol.
Nothing wrong with the product except these ******** need to quit recommending 195cc heads for 350ci street engines....AFr 195 heads on 350's are as common as Edelbrock carbs on Q-Jet intakes with the adapter....Lol....
Seriously though there are a couple of threads on here over the years where folks were disappointed with the 195 Eliminator....and it was strictly that it was the wrong head for the application.....you have to move a LOT of air to make those heads happy....
