Hey,
I'm working on rewiring a 1970 small block coupe, 4-speed. When I got the new wires from Lectric Limited, I labeled all the connectors per the OoSoEz diagram. The problem I'm having is, I found a two-wire connector up by the wiper switch that is supposed to go to a "Windshield Wiper Solenoid" per the Assembly Drawing. I don't see, or have, a solenoid, so I don't know what to do here.
Down by the trans tunnel, there are two cables that go to the "Windshield Wiper Relay". This Relay is mounted to the tunnel and I found those wires.
In addition to all this, I'm installing a motorized wiper door system from Richard454. So, maybe I don't need the missing relay....
Thanks,
John
Connector with double yellow and gray wires. Supposed to connect to a "Windshield Wiper Solenoid".

These two connectors go to the "Windshield Wiper Relay" mounted on the trans tunnel.
The wiper door solenoid is mounted to the back of the tach. It is an electro-vacuum thingy such that when the switch is turned on/off, the solenoid changes the vacuum signal to the wiper door, opening or closing it.

Download and read Richards directions if you didnt get the kit yet. He tells you what you need and dont need for wiring. Mine was plug and play and I didnt really eliminate any wiring but again, it is just for the vacuum so most likely you are correct. just remember to lug the vacuum lines you arent using anymore.

Thanks for the info. I'll dig out the directions from Richard454.
