I’m putting a stereo in my 81 and I don’t want to cut any wires. I’m looking for the stereo plug that will plug into the factory harness. METRA make a plug but it won’t work for an 81. I’ve bought 2 of the METRA plugs and they’re the same. Before I build the plug with terminals I’d like to buy one. Anybody know of the correct plug I’m looking for?

 

Been awhile since I did my 81 but I remember buying the adaptor at Walmart. They may not carry it now, but there definitely is one made.

Dude, that's not a radio plug. It's for the gauge cluster.

 

Oh man,that’s what I get for taking the car apart months ago and not getting back to it. Thank you for the info,greatly appreciated. This looks about right.
