I picked up a used L82 air cleaner for the additional cool air supply.
While cleaning it up I began to wonder about the screen on the inside, it reminds me of a spark arrester on a marine air cleaner.
I searched other threads here and didn't see this.
I did see one air cleaner that looked like this piece had been removed.
I'm thinking of removing it to increase airflow, though I don't know if it's fine enough to impede airflow.
Has anyone removed one?
Is anyone running one on a non-stock application?
Has anyone done flow tests before and after removing the screen?
