So now I'm wondering if that is not the correct radiator maybe that's why it was a bit loose in the holders... thanks Bubba for all the entertainment.

Bair’s is a great place to get top quality parts and components.
I’ve bought numerous items from Bairs over the years and I’ve never been disappointed.

Just and update on my radiator blues... this bolt was flush and could not get anything to bite on it.

Lucky for me it was a bit long so I double nutted it and was able to turn it out just enough to get needle nose pliers on the head of the bolt and rock the bracket back and forth to unscrew the bolt.

After getting the top brackets out and looking at the cushions there was one bottom cushion in the top bracket. So I lifted up each side of the radiator and pulled the bottom cushions out and sure enough one top cushion was in the bottom. They are a bit worn but will work for now. After putting the cushions in the correct place and straightening the passenger side bracket and figuring out that there are slots so you can adjust the top brackets I put everything back together for now. The radiator still wobbles a tiny bit but I'll change the cushions when they come in. At least this won't stop me from putting the new engine in.

Actually the new cushions will be here tomorrow so plenty of time to change them before the engine goes in.
