Power Steering Pump Came Off Bracket While Changing Belt
So I bullheadedly undid both the front screws on the PS pump trying to get the belt on it and now the bolts for it will go through the pump and through the bracket behind it but that doesn't line up with the hole behind that, I'm not sure if I can move the bracket itself, any help appreciated
I've shimmy'd and pryed to try and get it to like up but it won't or if it does the bolts won't catch the thread.
This is the view from under the car and slightly in front of the ps pump mounting where you can see the bolt clearing the pump and the bracket but still sitting about a quarter inch too high.
Is the belt still on pump. If so, remove belt and install pump. You have to loosen adjustment and pivot to install belt.
Also, make sure alternator is out of the way.
