Small crack in frame. What to do.
Hi , everyone new corvette owner here I have a 1975, and I noticed there is a small crack in my frame next to my Left front wheel and it's also a little rusted. Is this common with them? And can I just get it welded? Thanks so much in advance for any advice.

Dunno your location; that may matter a great deal.
If in USA or Canada, strongly suggest you call around area auto body shops and locate one or two that have an Auto Body Shop Frame Machine that's at least 20 to 25 feet long (minimum). With yours on frame machine, their Pros can expertly determine what's no longer straight and then proceed to straighten it AND weld up any cracks.
