Solid Flat Tappet Durability?
Are solid flat tappets made in the same overseas factories as the hydraulic flat tappets?
I've been searching for any posts about failures and haven't found any, yet.

Dunno for certain. Some likely are, others not. Much depends on whether builder chooses option of EDM oil hole direct-lube.
Most depends on who you choose as supplier. Suggest Trend or Jones cam designs or PPPC.
The truly good stuff is never cheap to buy into; but often returns reliability-endurance in spades.
If serious, call Mike Jones.
Suggest don't limit your solid flat tappet research to guys building solid sbc corvettes. Mighty small sample; that's not even at forefront of any trends.
Instead, look to real endurance racing forums/publications.
