Default Composite spring weight lb recommend

What is the best (I know this is subjective) spring weight for a rear composite spring? I'm not sure what the current lb i have on my car, but it way too soft. I fill up with gas and the car sags many inches, not to mention a ride that feels like a 1980's minvan in the rear. I have Bilstein B6 shocks (I'm pretty sure, the ones for standard ride height). I saw that VanSteel has 300lb, 330lb & 360lb version, as a reference.

I'm after a firm, but comfrotable ride. Something that feels a little like a sports car, but not track-day level or anything.

What have y'all tried and found to be the sweet spot?

I have the VBP (now VanSteel) 420 lb. composite spring on mine. It weighs 6 lbs., the same as the 360 lb. spring. My old stock steel spring weighed 43 lb. I have QA-1 adjustable rear shocks, with the ability to dial in the comfort level you want.....softer for the street, or stiff for the strip.

Majority of C3 owners with composite rear springs have the 330 lb. Mine has a 330 lb.VB&P composite spring along with Bilstein B8's. It's a firm but not jarring ride. Corners very nicely for a 50 year plus car.

I agree. Right around 330 - 340 lb spring with B8's. I also run a VB&P 330 with a 3/4 inch rear sway bar and B8's. It rides and handles great.

Thanks for the suggestions!

A question - my C3 when i got it definitely wasn't lowered, so when i threw shocks at it (I didn't realize the rear spring was so saggy initially), so I went with the Bilstein B6's, rather than the B8's. Would there bey any issues using the 330lb ( or similar) with the H6's regarding ride height or anything like that?

Shocks have nothing to do with ride height. You may need 8" spring bolts to correctly set the ride height.

Since VBP is no longer. Where is the best vendor to go to for a more narrow composite spring in the 330-360 lb range? Would like it more shorter/narrow as the extended bolts are very close to the tire. thx.

I believe VanSteel has the old VBP springs (narrow composites).

My A4 wagon on 35 section tires does both better than my C3.

C3? Pick one or the other.
