Does the floor have to be cut for the power option on these seats in an earlier c-3???

I believe only the 82 was available with a power driver's seat. The floor pan was lower on that side for the power seat, so not a direct bolt in for older cars.

Nope, my 81' has a power drivers seat... of course, it's another thing that's not working right, but it's there :)

Along with the floor being lower beneath the power seat, it is attached using studs that are built into the seat, and nuts that are removed from under the car. The regular seats have bolts that are removed from within the car.
