Default C3 cooling system

I'm eliminating the AC in my 1980 since living in northern Minnesota I don't feel the need. However I am retaining all the parts.
I've heard the C3"s can have cooling issues, so my question is will removing the AC condenser from in front of the radiator help that issue?
Thanks.

1980 here: I just rebuilt my cooling system. New aluminum rad. Water pump. Hoses, belts and thermostat all new. It runs the stock rad shroud and clutch fan. I chose a 165 thermostat. That’s where its running. Too cold. I will bump it up to 180. I have no heating issues at the moment. My car has no A/C system.
