What do you guys think? Mark IV 454 block, steel crankshaft, steel rods, forged Speed Pro pistons, and Comp Cams cam with .555 lift. I just dropped it into my '72's chassis and just finished bolting on the right Edelbrock Performer RPM head.
What is the dome on those Speedpro's? And are those the latest Edelbrock aluminum heads? Any idea what kind of HP you are expecting? Serious looking puppy you are working with there.
Bgrice,
These Speedpro .095 in. dome forged piston .030 in overbore. As far as the heads, they are the Performer RPM Street Cylinder Heads part number 6045. They are not the new Etec heads, which might be the ones you are thinking of. I expect some where in the around 530 to 550 HP.
