Default '76 Build Sticker location?

Where would I find the build sticker with the option codes on a '76 coupe?

Any help is appreciated. :yesnod:

Thanks!

Should be stuck to the top of the gas tank, but they've been found in other places like under the dash or in the seat. Top of the tank is the "normal" place though... If it's still there.

Thanks Mack76.

Any words of advice you might want to share about your experiences with a '76 Vette. Did you put the ZZ4 in yours? I'd love to see pictures too...

Yep...Best decision I ever made. Also new transmission, rebuilt rear end, new spring, shocks etc. It's new or rebuilt all the way from the motor mounts to the rear tire treads. I just need to get fired back up to finish working on the door guts. Then it'll be reaedy for a new interior... If I don't run out of money first.
I'd love to see pictures too...
O.K. Here's a few:

Couple of engine pictures. It's dirty, but I drive it a lot.

Wow, great pictures! :D

Not bored at all. Post some more if you've got 'em. Maybe an interior shot?

Sounds like you've really had some fun with that car!

Most of the other pics would just re-hash these. I don't have any interior shots. It's a mess. I have the driver's door panel off. (I get embarrassed when somebody passes me on the right side and looks in.) ... Been working on the door guts. I had to replace the shifter console and brake console when I first got the car. I put in a Hurst shifter with the new super T-10 transmission. Other than that, you could describe the interior with one word: ratty. The carpet's faded. The seats are ripped and torn. The gage bezel needs replacing and the dash is cracked in a couple of places. I'm driving it, but I need to get fired back up and finish the door work and do the passenger side. I'm replacing about everything but the window motor and window channels in each door, including putting in new glass.

Sometimes I think I bit off more than I can chew. :p:
