Default 1973 Horn clarification

I need some clarification here... I posted this elsewhere, but no replies... anybody here know?
I meant 1973!!! Dark room and bad typing...

It is my understanding that:
1970 & 72 Have two horns (high and low notes)
1973 had only one horn
1974 & 75 a second horn was optional
1976 and 77 a second horn was standard

So if you have a second horn on a 73 would that mean it was added by an owner, or was it possible to have had one put in as a Dealer option or maybe special factory order?

Thanks for any input,

Matt

Default Re: 1973 Horn clarification (MLTexas)

Matt,
I dont know that I will be able to answer your question completly. But 70 had two horns, a low note and a high note. 71-72 I know only had one horn a low note. I believe the 73 and the 74 only had one note. If your 73 has two horns it was probably added after the factory sent the car to the dealer. In 74 the second horn was a $4.00 option{U05}, which continued thru 75.
