Jeepers...All Winter while I can't drive the car..gas prices hover around the 65
cent a litre mark. Now, with Spring just a brakestall around the corner, I'm hearing gas at 90 cents to a 1.00 a litre..it was at 80 cents today. Is everone else feeling the pinch at the pump and what would you do without to keep your ride in Go Juice? Wow...ya really gotta feel for the guys with the BB now...It's gotta smart at the pumps...Hmmmm..... wonder how much cash I could I get for that stairmaster in the basement..? :jester
It's not my daily driver, so I'll just pay to play. I would think if we would just attack Iraq and have it over with this stupid gas price game would be over.
Hell yea lets just bomb Iraq and take the oil. I am 16 and the only car I have is my self bought Vette. So I have to deal with the prices and not so good gas mileage and it sucks. But you look good while losing money. :yesnod:
If it comes down to economics then there is a point where some mods (like overdrive or LS1) make since from a cost to benefit standpoint. At no point is it cheaper to buy a new car that gets better mileage. Run the numbers, they don't add up. So, essentially, I will never park it. Besides, fun has it's price and it's worth paying.
As for gas prices, they wont stay this high forever. Once the war is over or averted some things will settle down and once Venezuela starts shipping crude again, prices will really go down.
It can go thru the roof and I won't park it. Mine is not a daily driver, so I don't care how high the prices get. They'll be droppin back down to normal levels after we kick some Iraqi bootie anyway.

Re: How High Before U Park It? (burners)
:withstupid:
Insurance, taxes, tags, parts and repairs all cost much less compared to a new car. The Vette gets better gas milage than the Grand Marque anyway.
I will never park it. It's my priority. It's what I do. If you park it you may as well sell it. :steering:
In case anyone didn't read it,
I will never park it. It's my priority. It's what I do. If you park it you may as well sell it. :steering:
My sentiments exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! There's no sense in having a Corvette if you can't drive it. Man, you are soooooooo right!
Couldn't agree more with all these posts..I think gas prices will settle down as soon as the political situation gets right in Iraq and Venezuela starts to up their production. And you know what that means, the guys with the BB's will still have the last laugh. It's true...SIZE Does matter :jester :jester
