Clutch pedal busted, daily driver...
Tonight my clutch pedal made a "pop" sound, and suddenly nearly all resistance was gone. When I let the clutch out, the car starts to roll slowly, and about 6 seconds later the clutch engages. If I give it a lot of gas in any gear, the engine revs, and a few seconds later it starts to catch. Did I lose a clip in the pedal assy? How do I bubba this so I can get to work in the AM? D'OH!

Did you figure it out? Have you looked at the linkage to see if anything unusual is visible? Is the bellcrank mounted properly? Are the rods attached properly? Have someone depress and release the clutch pedal while you look at the linkage. Let us know what you discover.

Definitely check the linkage. before trying a "Bubba" fix on a daily driver, make sure you know what broke. While I am all for the "do it yourself" approach, the cost of a proper repair for something that is vital to operation and could fail again might make a professional repair a smart option
