Hiya Tom, it's good to have you with us. You automatically have double the experience by owning two Corvettes. That's great. I'll add my request for pictures. We can never see enough Corvettes.
Here are some pics of my vettes.
The silver one is the first one I bought 11 years ago. I got lucky on the this one, I knew nothing about the rust issues on these cars so I didn't check. The frame only had minor rust on it with a little bit of scaling in some areas, and the floorpans where very solid. By the time I bought the second one I knew a lot more. I checked the frame before I bought it. It is very rusty, but solid. However on the second one the floorpans are shoot the front clip was replaced but not attached really well.
In response to why I've been reading for a while(a couple of years), and then finally decided to signup, it's because the first time I signed up I never received the user approval e-mail, and it's nice to read the flame wars and not be involved in them. A lot of users will review a public forum before joining to see if it is what they are looking for. I finally joined because I spend so much time in here I might as well get involved in some of these discussions. Plus there are a ton of great cars in here, and a wealth of information. For more pics see my out of date webpage at http://www.geocities.com/tom-p/ click on "photos".
