Default AMERICAN SPEED ENGINES

They have a good website and I've seen a number of favorable magazine articles on their engines. Does anyone have any real world experience with their engines? The combinations are endless and the prices are reasonable, but... :skep:

I checked their website
http://www.amerspeed.com/

and their engines are way too expensive...

I bought a reliable 383/465HP engine from AR Racing for $2995...
Compareable engines from American speed are over $5000.... No way that I would pay that much for such engine...

Click here to see QUALITY ENGINES for reasonable prices:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...ns%40erols.com

So far I have over 5000 miles and over 30 drag strip passes on the engine and the engine still runs like new and VERY STRONG!!! My engine should be good for mid 11's ... with a professional driver...

Olivier

I've seen several of your posts and I've seen AR's listings on ebay. I'm just looking at several options. I don't know how AR builds those engines for the prices they advertise which in turn makes me a little :skep: I'm glad you're satisfied and your motor is serving you well but because they are relatively new to the game, I want to wait and see how satisfied their customers are over time before I committ. On the other hand I could get 2 AR motors for the price of 1 of some others.

Check AR Racing's feedback on Ebay.. They sold lots of engines there and there has never been any complaint about the quality of the engines... The only complaints were delays, bad crating... etc... Well - my engine was crated very nice when it arrived...
If I would have to get another crate engine - I wouldn't think twice and get one from AR again...
