Air Filter Question
My old filter was 14X3. I bought a Kool Blue that is 14X3.5.
The old filter fits snug in the filter pan (on the bottom around the carb). The Kool Blue is constructed a little differently and it appears to be about 1/2 inch or maybe less in the diameter of the kool Blue and the filter pan. In other words, the filter pan is a littler larger than the filter. The hood closes fine with the added height.
The top lid fits on snug. Do you see any problems with this?
EDIT: Never mind on this post. I decided to return the Kool Blue. No point in trying to force something not meant to be. At least, I learned by hood will close with a 3 1/2 inch filter. I just have to find the right one.
