Default Transparent Dist. Cap (?)

Mr. Gasket has a Transparent Distributor Cap as shown in this link:

Anybody used this cap or do you have an opinion about it? Thanx.

Never used 'em.
Like the look.
Plus, I bet they'd be cool looking with the enigne running, at night, and the hood up.
I was interested in getting one, but I use the chrome distributor cover, and I wouldn't even see it, so why bother, I figured.
I'd bet that you would see a lot of carbon discoloring the inside after a short while, though.

Once, at a vette show in Indiana, a saw a couple of these in the swap area. There was a used one that had cracks and spider-webbing of the plastic, which turned me off-- I didn't know how old it was , though.

I think that this'd be a good thing for showing the car, that is if you don't mind driving there with the stock cap, and once you arrive, swap in the clear cap for the show.

Hi
I was also thinking about it.
If you like it, get it.
You can always sell it for the tripple price used due to rare on E-bay later on. :smash:
Good luck Gunther
