Alright I have done this before but now I seem to be missing something. I uploaded my new pics and then took the url and placed it between the image symbols but nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong.
1) You must have your picture on the web. You can use your Internet Service Provider if they give you web space with your service, or you can use a free web service such as http://www.boomspeed.com to host them for free. Upload or "publish" your pics here.
2) This creates a link where you can use your browser to see the picture, such as http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/nom.../frontshot.jpg
3) Once you can link to it, go to the forum, My Profile, My Signature. Click on the IMAGE button. This puts [ img] [ /img], called image tags, in the edit box. Put your link to your picture between these tags (no spaces), such as:

Nomad78SA,
I am using the forum filemanger on my homepage just as you have described in your second point. This is where my signature pics are being accesed from. I have uploaded 3 new pics and wanted to replace the ones that I have with the new ones but it is not working. I am wandering if it has something to do with the fact that when I changed my forum name to BlackRat from wadew10 the name on my home page stayed the same, wadew10.
If one of the moderators is reading this could that be the problem?
I feel you pain Black Rat. I have a couple of pics in my file manager that will not post either just as you discribed too. I can only put a link to it.

Sorry guys I couldn't get the images to work. But the links work. Sorry the pics are so big. I just got this digital camera and I am not sure how to make them smaller.

Shannon,
Yeah the mini van took the place of my '88 Vette :cry Never could figure out how to mount a baby seat in the cargo area of that car. :yesnod: But the van was definately a good investment and the compromise worked out for me as well. I got the car I always wanted. :yesnod:
Are you coming down for the Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway in April? I heard from Quikstik that the theme is the 50th aniversary of the Vette and all the local clubs are supposed to be thier.
