Trim paint
Anyone try something other than Duplicolor Black trim paint? Looks nice for about a year, and then starts to wear off. Yes, I cleaned properly.
Thinking about a polyurethane flat black.

larry what do you want to paint on the 82? I repainted all of the black windshield trim, rockers, gills, etc. Let me know, I can tell you what I used. I did it 2 years ago and still looks perfect.

I painted with the Duplicolor spray can about 9 months ago, but some shiny aluminum is starting to appear. I gave a nice level of coating also.

OK, if you have acess to a automotive paint supply store in your area this is what you want to get. It is called SEM trim Paint. The paint code # is 39143, and it is the correct color. It comes in 12 oz. aerosol cans and I paid something like $8.99 a can. 1 can was enough to do the windshield trim, both rockers and both gills 2 times. So it goes a long way. I just roughed up the original paint with #400 sandpaper before painting.
