how to get more gears
what other transmissions will fit a c3 other than the 2k-3k richmonds in summit? I would like a 5 or six speed when i get a new engine but don't want to put that kind of cash into it. There are tranny's out of c4 vettes and c5 and camaro's on ebay for cheap (1k or so), those wouldn't fit by chance?

They will require modifications, some more sever than others. Depending on your power goals, a T5 might work for you. I don't know of any OEM 5 or 6 speeds that fit with no modifications.
