Not an easy job with the body on. THe lines come down the passenger side between the body and frame. I think there were a couple here who have replaced them without pulling the body but I don't remember who.Someone used a compression union on my car before I bought it-pre 1980 and it's still there all these years later. Was he going to replace or splice the lines?

It is a real pain. To replace it with a standard one piece hard line you need to remove the body. At least disconnect everything and lift the body about six to ten inches. It is that kick up at the rear suspension that gets you.
