16.24 at 83.6 mph Yeah, you should be able to beat that! :lolg:
Yeah, it seems slow, but beat 90% of the imports on the road :jester

It's a stock rear-end (3.27 or 3.08 i think, going to check when I get my car back sometime this week) and yes I am probably going to get a bigger rear, probably a 3.73 or 3.90. and then to go with it some wider wheels (TTII's) to compensate a little, that is when I get more money

I personally like the setup(I'll know more once I test out my new tranny) but a little more spunk is always nice. Sometime in the distant future I will probably end up changing to bigger carb, 268XE, and maybe Air Gap RPM, but for now I think I'm stuck with what I got, unless someone wants to donate some money *wink wink cough cough*

I would really like a setup that could put me into the 12's no nos, turbo, super, on pump gas, and a daily driver.... Thats asking for a bit much isnt it, LOL
I'm thinking about going through and taking away some drag on the engine by getting serpentine and possibly electric fans(maybe free up 10hp) but those serpentine setup are expensive, might try to find a setup at a junk yard and use it. That would help alittle. If i really had a future for my car i might drop a 400crank in it to make a stroker but thats probably a last resort.

Thx Everyone, The more tips the marrier

Another thing to note about cam characteristics is that a given cam will tend to have a more mellow attitude in a larger engine. For instance, if the XE262 is tollerable and fits my needs in my 350 thats good. But if I built a 406, then an XE268 would maybe feel the same in a 406 as a 262 would feel in the 350. The larger the displacement the engine has, the less the negitive effects on bottom end and idle quality will be.
