I upload the picture at full size to the corvetteforum web page site then open it up to full size once in the file manager ..then copy the link at full size the picture will size its self when your place it in your profile....good luck ..I hope it made sence..
makes sense...what i was thinking though was if you wanted to post lots of pics but as thumbnails so you can get an idea of what the pic is then click on it to open it up....just an idea for this virtual car show tomorrow...
I know a bit about writing HTML code and here's how I do it. Below you will find a jpg with the code I wrote to the small jpg you will find below it that should be clickable to a larger jpg on my home page. I'm going to make sure it works in this forum before I explain what it all means.
Now that I see that it works in this forum here's what the code means. The *a href* link information is the bigger pic that makes it clickable to the smaller jpg that I have that is 74corvette5t... *t* for thumbnail of the larger pic. Just the way I note which jpgs are large and which ones are small. The height & width are the width of the smaller jpg and is not really necessary, but it makes sure that any website I write will format the same way every time just in case one of the jpgs does not open. In other words... if a pic does not open up it will fill that space with the intended size so that things don't get jumbled around. A mess, but maybe you get the idea. Corvette Forum took my info that I entered here and then redid it to their format.
I start teaching this to my grade 9 in another 4 weeks, man they pick it up almost faster than I can teach it to them, and then I just get out of their way and watch them fly. It's great they teach me how to do web stuff all the time.
