Take a look here, I list the config for the '73 L82. The 75 would have the same except for the exhaust (plus carb tuning and HEI ignition tuning which results in a lower hp rating for the '75):

The early L82's had iron intakes, same intake as used on the base L48. Later L82's (77 or 78 on) used an aluminum intake but all it did was save weight, was the same as the iron one.
The LT1 used a high rise aluminum intake which would not fit under the L82's hood. :)
actually i am running a highrise al. intake from a '70 LT1 on my '76 along with a holley 750 duel feed and drop base air cleaner with k&n filter and extreme air flow top, i have about 1 inch clearance to the hood.
