Please help me decipher this engine block #T0919LM19S730795.
I kwow T=Tonawanda, 09=Sept, 19=day of month. I need help with the rest, Thanks

Well I am not sure about the LM1, but the S730795 should be the last 7 characters of your VIN#. If it is that is the original engine for your car. :)

You are looking at two sets of numbers there. The T0919LM is the build date/usage stamp: T=Tonawada, 09=Sept, 19=19th day of Sep, LM=engine usage (in this case a '69 Vette 427/390hp with manual trans). Then the 19S730795 is the Vin Deritive: 1=Chevy, 9=year, S=St Louis, 730795=last six of the car the engine was originaly installed in.

According to the 9S730795 that is a engine for a 69 vette.
9= 1969
S= St. Louis
If your last 6 digits of your VIN# is 730795 that should be the original engine for your vette.
