Does Anyone Know.........
I have an oil leak from my distributor on my 81. I want to replace the seal, but my local Chevy dealer is not sure if its a rubber O ring or a cork gasket that is used for the 81 distributor. His computer was down and he said to come back tomorrow, but I wanted to be sure before I go back. Thanks in advance. :chevy

If you are referring to the the distrib/manifold gasket, it is basically just a thick piece of paper. If it is the shaft/housing seal, then that is something else. Where is the leak?
