Never heard of such a car. And what's the claim about all the fiber optics working? They stopped that in '71. Very confusing - nice loking car, but confusing.

:bs They sure make it out to be more than it is...
Dull paint
Dull rims
Dull engine compartment that appears to house nothing more than a L48 or L82.
Notice they did not metion any 1/4 mile times. Just cause it did 130 means NOTHING. My grand am does 130 also.

Yeah, 130mph isn't fast. If it has a 3.08 it'd be childs play to get it going that fast. I can get to 125mph with 3.55s.

vin checks as an L-82. i think that's about where the 'z' part stops. notice they guy could supply all these numbers but couldn't bother to take any pictures of the super special exhaust system (i couldn't figure out what the hell he was talking about) or any other special equipment he claimed it had? any mods above the standard L-82 weren't done at the factory, so just another modded vette. $5000 is pretty fair for the market.

Very creative, anything to get it out the lot, must be a used car salesmen.

:_dupe: Puh-leeeze!
I went and compared a few numbers to mine. Intake and carb are stock L82. Manifolds are stock. The car still has an AIR pump for crying out loud. I think the "ported pipes with expansion tubes" are the AIR tubes to the manifold.
And why does he assume a TH400? The car is stock, so it's a TH350.
Why would anyone put 3.5" pipes on stock manifolds? And I see stock tailpipes coming out the back.
Top radiator shroud "deleted" means "missing." "No shielding on dist." means "crappy plastic shielding removed" (mine is too).
Great hype, though. :lolg:

I forgot to mention: "A.C. unit needs freon." They ALL say that! When I was looking, I must have heard that from half a dozen people.
But nobody mentions it also needs a compressor, hoses, drier/accumulator, and who knows what else...
But this is a NO RESERVE auction, so start bidding folks! The price is excellent as it currently stands

It IS AN LS9. Yep, true. The numbers check out. The Block suffix code, TYZ, is for an LS9. But it just happens to be that the TYZ LS9 is a '75 truck engine, was rated at 165 hp :D
Yep, he does have an LS9 but it is not a Vette engine, just another truck transplant.

I enjoyed the comment about ported pipes with expansion tubes....Yes, they are the AIR injection tubes. No NASCAR race car can do without them.
