How to remove the inserts
Any tips on how to remove the inserts on hooker side pipe mufflers, They have the glasspacks in them. I have been soaking them with WD and other various type of pentrating oils. I used a board with a hole in the middle a put a chain through it connecting it on the the other end of pipe with a 1/8 inch piece of steel with a notch cut in it, and it just ripped in two when I hooked up the port-a-power. any ideas?

I've had the best luck by holding the tube vertical and dropping the open end on a piece of wood. The hammering impacts will sometimes break them loose :cheers:
