Does anyone have any brilliant ideas about how to detail wiring and vacuum lines under the hood?. I have used the split plastic corigated wraps but am not too thrilled since the product lacks fittings on the ends and is hard to make it look good at the alternator (for example). I have to cover my harness since it was repaired/regrounded.
You can wipe down the vacuum lines with armerall or something like that for rubber.
If you have the time, you can wrap the wiring with electrical tape. Take your time, and it will look pretty good. Plus some strategical placed zip ties will help.
I was looking for something a little more exotic than electrical tape, but that is always an option I guess. This is obviously a product that needs to be invented.
I was also looking at that. It was awhile back so not 100% sure. But I think it was Russell products a division of Edelbrock. They have a fabric wrap I Think
check their web site. Let us know.
Check http://www.waytekwire.com they have several different wire coverings such as spiral wrap, expandable sleeving, vinyl tubing, and corrugated loom plus fittings. Some of the items have a minimum order but the prices are good. :chevy
